Dar Aldowailah Engineering Consultants Company, the main contractor with MPW, chose IIES to build the GIS data base for the regional roads in the southern part (section two) and the northern part (section one) of state of Kuwait.

Field survey using high resolution satellite images with 50 cm spatial resolution were used for 1,276 square km of the project.

SuperGIS and ERDAS imagine analysis software were used for geo-referencing, enhancement, and production of detailed land use of the site. Resulting data was entered into a database.

 Final datasets were submitted in AutoCAD and GIS formats.
